Tavannes is a brand lost to time. They were a major watch brand back in the day and had 5 factories! They were so proud of that achievement they used the number 5 as part of their logo. They eventually got absorbed into ASUAG (Swatch). This watch is 18k solid gold! It has tasteful patina on the dial, and eye catching breguet style hands. The crown seems to be a replacement at some point. The watch runs but as always with vintage your mileage may vary and a service is often recommended.
