Good afternoon, WatchEx! One line banger for today - a very nicely proportioned and scarce dress piece from beloved brand Lorier, the Zephyr Crimson. Lorier, to me, has a place among the podium for affordable microbrands. The value they deliver with their classic designs and great fit/finish is tough to beat, and this classic tonneau two-hander is no different. Guilloche dial, slim case, and very comfortable fit for any wrist size - this should be a staple in any watch box. Lorier has released a small handful of colored guilloche dials for the Zephyr, and for my money, this deep crimson red is the best look to date. This was a special/limited release that is no longer available from Lorier. It has a high-beat workhorse automatic movement, a great OEM leather strap, and exudes class without being to brash. The almost wine-red dial will go with just about anything without looking too gaudy - most red-red dials are much louder.
