Originally designed for pilots, the “Big Crown”—which gives the model its name—allowed for easy adjustments while wearing gloves. This model features a beautifully sized 36mm stainless steel case with elegant lugs and rose gold bezel which gives a luxury feel on the wrist. The star of the show is the pointer date complication — a signature Oris touch — where a red-tipped central hand elegantly circles the dial to mark the date. Powered by the Oris 745 automatic movement (based on the reliable ETA 2836-2), it delivers smooth timekeeping and a vintage aesthetic without sacrificing function. Additional highlights include plexiglass crystal up front, and a see-through case back made of mineral glass. The watch is in good condition, case can see some wears. Crystal is nice and clean. Lume can see some marks, but overall still functions well. It has been recently serviced and is running well. Watch comes fitted on a custom handmade leather straps.
