This early mechanical innovation allowed for a smoother sweep of the seconds hand and improved timekeeping precision by reducing daily deviation. There are two dial variants known for this reference: a classic silver sunburst and a linen-textured version with raised Arabic numerals. This particular example features the silver sunburst dial, which has aged gracefully over time, taking on a slightly darker tone that adds character and depth.The case measures 34.8mm in diameter, 10.3mm thick, and has a 19mm lug width. The watch is in good condition with only a few hairline scratches mostly on the caseback, the crystal is flawless and free of scratches, the case and case back are still in great shape. The watch has been serviced so it will keep great time. Watch comes on a custom leather straps and Seiko’s buckle. Although it doesn’t come with original box and paper, a standard Seiko box will be provided upon purchase.
