Selling a 1940s Omega (ref. 2271-12)! Bought this a while ago on watchex [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Watchexchange/comments/1l1nb0i/wts_1947_omega_ref_227112_cal_260_360/), but still am in need of funds, so more stuff has to go.  The indices are subtly gilded, which makes them really pop under natural light. Expect heavy scratching on the case; there is a tiny scratch on the dial; the crown is also slightly bent. The watch has been fitted with a sweet handmade leather strap- I don’t cheap out on straps, and it feels & looks great during the time I wore it.  The watch has been serviced about 2 months ago, and is running very strong. The crystal and mainspring have been replaced with genuine omega parts, but everything else has been left original. The crown is original, and the gasket has been replaced with an o-ring. *Do not* expect the watch to be waterproof in any metric though, since it’s a snapback case. I will include the original crystal with the watch, just for fun.  * Case diameter: 34.8mm * Lug width: 17.5mm (but can fit 18mm straps) * Lug-lug: 41.5mm * Thickness: 8.8mm (including crystal)  * Movement: cal 260 * Rate: +/- 15 s/d  * Amplitude: 300 * Beat error: 2.5 ms (see timegrapher pic)  The rate mostly depends on the state of wind on the mainspring (which is pretty normal)- fully wound the watch runs at a positive rate, but leave it for a day and it runs slow. I’ve been winding it once every 24h, and it’s been keeping within 5 seconds per day. If you so desire, you can probably take the watch to a watchmaker to dial in the beat error.  I am asking **$490** \+ free US shipping through Paypal G+S, due to the service cost and new ($40) strap. Feel free to send an offer though! Apologies for the wall of text lol I will consider trades but prefer sale. **If you happen to have a hanhart 417 39mm** ***bracelet*****, I will gladly do a 1-1 trade.**
