Hello up for sale is a seldom seen Rolex 4315 in non-oyster case. I’ve been told that these non-oyster case serials don’t conform to known serial charts, but this watch looks to me to be from the World War II era.
The Rolex 17 jewel mechanical movement winds and runs, but service history is unknown.
The dial is original, marked “Swiss Made”, Geiger counter shows it to be radium. Beautiful, even patina.
Non-oyster case is 35mm including crown and has a snap-on caseback. Inside of Caseback is inscribed with 4315 and serial 273910. Lugs are 18mm.
