Introduced to mark 80 years of the Big Crown collection, this model captures the essence of Oris heritage — practical, elegant, and unmistakably vintage-inspired. The watch features a 40mm bronze case, a material that develops its own natural patina over time, giving each piece a unique character. The warm tone of the bronze pairs beautifully with the deep green dial, a color chosen to echo the forests surrounding Oris’s Hölstein headquarters in Switzerland. Large Arabic numerals and cathedral hands, both filled with luminous material, ensure excellent legibility, while the pointer date function, a hallmark of the Big Crown line which adds a charming mechanical touch. Powering the watch is the Oris Caliber 754, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200, offering a 38-hour power reserve and featuring hacking seconds and fine adjustment. The movement can be admired through the see-through stainless steel case back, adding a nice contrast to the bronze case. It comes fitted with a brown leather strap and a bronze pin buckle, completing the earthy, vintage aesthetic. The domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clarity from every angle, while the 50-meter water resistance provides everyday practicality. The watch is in excellent condition, with no scratches nor dents. The crystal is clear and clean, dial is flawless. It comes on the original OEM Oris leather bracelet and buckle. The movement has recently been serviced and is keeping excellent time at +/-5s a day. It comes as full set box, booklet, card.
