The 6105 was Seiko’s second-generation diver, produced from 1968 to 1977. It kept the 150m water resistance of the original 62MAS but introduced key upgrades, including the higher-beat 21,600 bph movement. This example features the hacking 6105B movement (automatic, no hand-winding), along with the original friction-fit bi-directional bezel typical of the era. The case is the instantly recognizable asymmetrical cushion shape — the design that eventually inspired the modern “Turtle.” Measuring 44mm across with a very wearable 47.5mm lug-to-lug, it wears far better than the numbers suggest. The curved crown guard flows into the case and protects the locking crown, giving the watch its trademark silhouette. A Seiko Hardlex crystal completes the rugged dive-tool look. The dial is classic vintage Seiko diver: matte black, bold rectangular indices, double marker at 12, and the shovel-style seconds hand that mirrors the top index. Everything is generously lumed and retains excellent readability. The framed date at 3 keeps the display balanced and true to the original layout. This example remains in great condition, showing light wear consistent with age with no dents. Case and caseback shows well-preserved shapes. The dial is clean with no patina or scratches, second hand can see some light marks. Crystal is clean and in great shape. It comes fitted on Seiko Rubber band. The watch has been serviced and it currently keeps great time at +/-5s a day. Although the watch doesn’t come with original box and papers, a standard watch box will be provided upon receive.
