Good afternoon, WatchEx! Second and final for tonight: the stunning Vario Empire True GMT in Spring Green. Vario is just plain fun. I've followed along with the brand since rise back around 2019 (founded in 2016), and have always been a huge fan of their dial work and general affordability. The watch world needs more modern art-deco styling, and Vario is doing a killer job in making that a reality. Vario is based in Singapore and run by the nicest couple you'll ever come across. Their lineup is pretty diverse and covers a lot of niches you don't see often from other microbrands - from period-accurate trench watches, affordable duo-face tank-style watches, to the gorgeous Empire art deco line. The quality is great, and the company is even better. I highly recommend getting on their email list even if you don't buy anything. This Empire True GMT is classic and fun - how many mint-green guilloche dials do you see in the wild? It wears wonderfully on any wrist, and doesn't have that cheap feeling that so many Asian microbrands do (mostly the "homage" brands - you know what I'm talking about.) TL;DR: Look at the photos.
