Seiko 6309-7049 Ghost Diver early-production March 1977 This watch has seen things…as it should. Use your tools friends. The Seiko Turtle is not only an iconic design but it also has the sea and war credibility—the 6309 variant ran from 1976-1988. While not as hunted as the 62mas or 6105 models, it is high value and offered at a substantially lower price point and marketed to North America—notably used by SEALs. While no service history, this one is still pumping and does not need a service soon and running +14 seconds a day and can get up over 200 amplitude with a full wear—in general, these older Seikos do not show great on the timegrapher— but they perform on the wrist. The movement is clean and we did regulate the watch.
