The handmade urushi lacquer dials are a sight to behold, where the depth of the deep black dial can’t be captured by my pedestrian photography skills. Lastly, the watch features a genuine crocodile strap, a feature only seen on Grand Seikos nowadays. The watch is accompanied by its original box and sleeve plus the manual only. No warranty card is included. I do not have a timegrapher and I have not timed the watch. The movement winds smooth and I have not observed any great variance in time keeping. This is a classic 40/20, 40mm case with 20mm lug width. Even with its dressy nature it does feature 100m of water resistance to serve as a daily. The watch Is in very good condition but given the high polish case, light scratching will be visible under scrutiny. There are no deep scratches, gouges and the crystal is clear.
