Crafted in stainless steel, it now measures 42.6mm in diameter and 13.8mm in height. The dial has large embossed indices filled with strong LumiBrite luminous material. Scratch resistance is enhanced with Seiko’s DiaShield coating on the case and bracelet. DiaShield is about 2-3 times harder than Stainless Steel. And, the slightly domed (anti-reflective) sapphire resists scratching and provides a clear view of the gorgeous dial and hands.
