And with my favorite dial variation - the lesser seen and absolutely incredible cream Roman column dial! YEAR: 1980s DIAL: The star of the show! I think it’s the most amazing design for this line, just all kinds of cool, combining the columns with those gold lines and a subtle cream color that pops like crazy in the light! CASE: This is the vintage men’s version, measuring in at 23.5MM x 30.5MM. A small and classy watch, equally suitable as a midsize or unisex swatch. Pictured on my 6.6 inch wrist, it wears beautifully. The Vermeil case, a Cartier staple of gold over sterling silver, has light wear throughout, as to be expected given the age, with a spot of plating loss right by the strap on the bottom. Hardly noticeable on the wrist, presents beautifully. And of course, that original crown with it’s classic blue cabochon!
