The Datejust is easily one of the most legendary watch models in history. In its more than 75 years of release, the list of combinations of bracelet, dial colour, dial pattern, marker style and bezels has been almost endless - we still come across configurations we have never seen even now! There is such a wealth of variety that you can still stand out in a crowd - even if they’re all wearing Datejusts - as long as you pick the right one.

When it debuted in 1945, it was launched as the world’s first waterproof automatic chronometer that offered a date window. This release coincided with Rolex’s 40th birthday, so to celebrate they also launched the “Jubilee” 5-link bracelet as part of the range.

This example sits within the higher-end sophisticated-look category, with the aforementioned Jubilee steel & gold bracelet coupled with a yellow gold fluted bezel on a steel case. To “crown” (see what we did there?) this incredible piece, you will find a gold-tone champagne dial to complete the look.
