I love this watch dearly and the domed sapphire crystal is just perfection, but just got a Tudor Pelagos and this now just feels too small. This thing is the best of the Aquascaphe lineup in my opinion because of the maxi handset, the BGW9 Super-Luminova, and the gorgeous 12-hour steel bezel. I’m personally not a fan of the faux-tina on some of the other Aquascaphes and the black and white Aquascaphe that doesn't have the faux-tina uses C1 Super-Luminova, which doesn’t glow as bright for as long as the BGW9 on the SB01. The White dial SB01 also uses BGW9, but doesn’t have the sandwich dial at the 3-6-9 like the SB01. To me, this one is the complete package in terms of form and function. There are some small swirls and light scratches on the bezel around the 11 and 1 o’clock markers, which is to be expected on a steel bezel watch, as well as the clasp of the bracelet. I did my best to capture all of the imperfections in the photos (please see all the photos on the link). ​ This thing looks great on any strap and I’ve included a few pictures of me wearing it on various Natos.
