I think neo vintage Rolex Air Kings are some of the best Rolex buys out there and this one kicks it up a few notches! With this ref 14010 from 1999 you get that sweet Explorer style 3-6-9 dial, here in STUNNING blue sunburst, and with my personal favorite Rolex bezel, the engine turned. All in just an awesome combo and a whole lot of watch for the money!

DIAL: Incredible blue sunburst dial goes from a dark navy to a bright vibrant blue depending on the light! That SWEET 3-6-9 layout, and being from late 1999 you get luminova, so still shining bright. Awesome example - under a loupe/macro a few specs here and there, but both the dial and the sapphire crystal are incredibly clean.



CASE: 34.5mm stainless steel case (wears larger due to oyster case, just slightly smaller than a standard Datejust - photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist.) Case is also fantastic - nice and thick lugs with great brushing. Light wear throughout, as you’d expect on a 25 year old watch, but about as clean as they come! And THAT BEZEL - Rolex’s engine turned bezel brings a touch of art deco with a hint o’ industrial, great design element that adds flair while being more understated than a fluted bezel.



MOVEMENT: Rolex cal 3000 automatic movement is running beautifully. Service history unknown, but winds and sets very smoothly, and timegrapher numbers are great at 7 seconds a day with a healthy 287 amplitude.

BRACELET: Original Rolex oyster bracelet, clasp code matches the date, currently fits up to about a 7 inch wrist. Very light wear throughout, crisp crown on the clasp - overall in really great shape.
