This watch buckle came off a vintage Omega watch I purchased decades ago and have long since sold on a different strap before I learned the importance of keeping a watch as complete and original as possible. The buckle has tarnished, so it is either silver or silver plated but there are no marking designating the metallic composition. The construction is very early Omega, as you can see the Omega emblem is actually a plate and pin that is affixed through the buckle and flattened to hold it in place. These rarely come up for sale and are commonly not on the original strap since leather rarely lasts very long. The original pin is missing, but easily replaced with a pin from a similar size buckle and would not be noticed on the wrist. I don’t collect vintage pieces anymore, but hopefully someone here can find a good home for it on another vintage Omega watch.
