Dial & Hands: Sunburst blue in excellent condition. The Tritium lume plots have developed a very pleasing caramel hue and the tritium in the hands matches perfectly.





Overall Cosmetic Condition: Unpolished. No chips or scratches on the crystal. There are a few light hairline scratches on the case sides and consistent with very limited use. The fluted bezel is in excellent condition. This watch came from the original owner who bought it for himself to celebrate his retirement. Only worn on special occasions. It has spent a great deal of time in the safe. The Oyster Bracelet is less common than the Jubilee on 16233. The bracelet is original to the watch and in excellent condition.


Mechanical Condition: I did take the watch to my watchmaker in early April to determine if the watch was in need of a service. His opinion was that, despite the fact that the watch appears never to have been serviced, it still did not require one. He made a very small timing adjustment. Bracelet: Other than a few light swirls, the Oyster bracelet is full linked and in excellent lightly worn condition. Evidence of this can been seen in the condition of the clasp. The watch has spent most of its life a safe and the bracelet is in excellent condition. I will have it ultrasonically cleaned, before shipping the watch.



Please note the scuff marks on the RHS of the case-back, between the crown and the case-back sticker.
