[WTS] The Ultimate North-Korea/DPRK/Moranbong collection
[WTS] The Ultimate North-Korea/DPRK/Moranbong collection
This is as rare as its going to get, folks! Extremely rare watches, straight out of North-Korea. Kim Il-Sung saw that China was able to stimulate the local economy with an internal watch market and wanted to give it a try himself. In 1972 he gave the order to produce watches to the party leadership and Swiss watch parts (and technology) were purchased from George von Burg 10. The North Koreans then got to work themselves and the result is a modified Semag ES95 timepiece. These pieces were never sold outside of the DPRK and were smuggled out of the country.
