Hey Folks! Up for grabs is this Citizen Exceed Tank that I believe was made in September of 1989.   These Exceed models were launched as a competitor to the Seiko Dolce line.  They both featured exotic materials - in this case, tungsten carbide for the case.  That makes the case incredibly hard and scratch resistant, which is why it looks so great over 30 years later!   The case is 26.5mm wide by 34mm lug to lug.  The lug width is 20mm.  The entirety of the case is polished, and the mix of flats, curves, and bevels make it catch the light in almost any setting.  It’s a real looker.   The dial here is a stunning blue with applied silvery gold indices, which echo the case color.  The dauphine hands are the same material, and have a silver line running down the spine.  The pinion is capped, which keeps the appearance clean.   The watch is in fantastic condition - the case is pristine with no dings, marks, or scratches.  The dial has some very small scratches on the right side that are hard to photograph and see.  The onyx cabochon is flawless.  Caseback has some old stickers on it that I haven’t removed - they look like they came on the watch originally.  The watch is running well on a new battery.
