The watch has a sandwich case; 3 different shapes come together, along with a textured black dial, date complication, applied indices, sword shaped hands with the distinctive Alpina red counter weight on the seconds hand to make a really sophisticated sport watch. The Alpiner watch line was created to produce a robust watch that is waterproof; shockproof, and anti magnetic. An outdoor timepiece that can stand up to the rigors of Alpine hiking. Except this guy is good looking enough to wear anywhere. Comes in full kit, including papers and warranty card. Bought this approximately a year ago. I love the rubber wrapped screw down crown.
