For sale is my Patek Philippe 5065a that I purchased last year. Here are the details: This watch was purchased in June of 2023 from a dealer, and was just serviced by Patek (had the service tag and service sticker on the rear). It includes the inner and outer box, leather bound book, service hang tag, black band (sized to 6.5 inch wrist), green band (uncut!), the original clasp, the updated more secure clasp, and of course, the watch :) I never went through the fuss of ordering the extract, but that’s easily accomplished if desired as the service hang tag has the case and movement serial numbers. This watch is the epitome of low-key, IYKYK cool. I wore this about ~50% of the time for a year, and the greatest part is that the people you do not want noticing do not notice, and the true watch geeks completely nerd out. It’s really a stellar piece, and the sizing is just absolutely perfect. To start - it’s running perfectly. The watch was in fact worn, so except small surface marks. There’s nothing crazy to report, and the pictures hopefully do a good job showing the exact condition. Hands/Dial: My understanding from when I purchased is that this is a 2004, which was the very end of the run for the 5065. Which meant, the hands/dial went from tritium to luminova - making this the more modern incarnation of the run. Some of course prefer the tritium, but for a daily wear, I wanted to have something that was more usable. Price: I am asking $40k. This is ~15% less than what I paid given how the market has corrected. Open to reasonable offers, not open to trades. We can work out preferred payment methods after chatting.
