I hate do to this because this is such an awesome watch, but up on the block today is this all original 1960 Zodiac Triple Calendar Moonphase. The specs: Brand: Zodiac Model: Zodiac Triple Calendar Moonphase Country of Origin: Switzerland Manufactured: Circa 1960 Case Size: 34mm diameter, 41mm lug to lug, 12.2mm thick Case Material: Stainless Steel with 14K gold plating and gold fill Movement: Zodiac 1150A/AS1361N Manual Wind Crystal: Acrylic Dial: Cream colored with Arabic numerals Bracelet: Vintage 1960’s period correct Montal Beads of Rice Rolled Gold w/17.6mm ends (will fit up to a 6.25”-6.5” wrist) We recently sent this watch out to my go to service guy for a repair quote. **Please read the following notes on the condition carefully:** The watch overall is in good vintage condition and runs well with all pushers working and resetting properly. The movement does show wear consistent with the age of the watch and it should be noted that even after a thorough and detailed sympathetic restoration to the movement, performance will be limited to +\\- 1-2 minutes a day, which is expected for a watch of this age. The case also shows sign of plating loss expected with a 65+ year old watch. The bracelet was noted as absolutely lovely and in great overall condition. The main issue is that the watch has a loose bezel/crystal which keeps coming off and is the reason we sent it in for service. It was noted that the case has Steel underneath, rather than many watches of this time which used a base metal or brass, meaning if restored this would give the case a better opportunity to hold together for longer. There have been a lot of questions/messages about what it would take to fix the bezel/crystal, so I reached back out to my service guy to confirm and he stated that the **estimate to repair the loose crystal/bezel was \~$300.** I have tried to capture everything in the photos and video below: Timestamp: [https://imgur.com/a/GhOUYZu](https://imgur.com/a/GhOUYZu) Album: [https://imgur.com/a/31Fwd2r](https://imgur.com/a/31Fwd2r) The watch is still running well despite the loose bezel/crystal. The wife decided to put money required to repair the watch towards sourcing her grail instead. While the bezel/crystal does need fixed, I feel this watch offers a great opportunity for anyone that is wanting to add a gold vintage piece to their collection and your chance to get Patek of Omega vibes in a gold, super complicated package for a fraction of the price! I have seen these watches go anywhere from $600 (not working at all) up to +$3k (pristine) online. The listings currently on Chrono24 are all for $1300+ and others on eBay are going anywhere from $1k - $3k+. I have had many purchases and sales on this forum and am doing my best to fully disclose the condition of this gorgeous vintage watch. That being said and based on the condition of the watch and findings from our service guy, I am looking to get **$500/OBO** for this rare vintage Zodiac Triple Calendar Moonphase. I would put the trade value a bit higher but am up for negotiating. The watch will come as shown on the period correct gold rolled beads of rice bracelet (which was valued at $250) and with no box or papers. It is not getting any wrist time at all currently and my laziness to repair is your benefit! **All reasonable offers will be considered. I am also open to trading up for the right piece and throwing in watches or cash on my end depending what you have to offer.** Shoot me a DM if interested and thanks everyone!
