Guinand, an outstanding watch brand largely known to watch geeks, & few others, is a German tool watch company helmed by Helmit Sinn, iconic figure in the horological spheres. Of course everyone is familiar with Sinn, the German brand seen as the manufacturer of the apotheosis tool watches, & German is home to the best tool watch brands in the world (Sinn, Hanhart, Stowa, Fortis, etc). Guinand, not as well known as the aforementioned companies, creates tool watches every bit the equal of Sinn, if not superior. Unlike Sinn, & likely because of their small size & utter lack of marketing, Guinand pieces are relatively accessible price-wise, whereas Sinn’s have completely skyrocketed (in fact, Guinand does not employ a marketing or sales department, which is one of the reasons their prices are reasonable).
