Hey Reddit, up for sale today is a lovely piece of Seiko history. The Seiko Goldfeather is a ultra thin dress watch manufactured in the 1960’s. These models used the 60M movement which is a staggeringly thin 2.95mm, and frequently came in a gold filled or solid gold case. This particular piece comes in a 14k gold filled case with a 35mm diameter and 7mm thickness including crystal. The cream colored dial has beautiful engraved markers for indices. There is some slight patina forming on the edges of the dial at 10 o'clock. The crown has a raised S for the Seiko logo. In 1960, the retail price of the Goldfeather was 25000 Yen, which accounting for inflation would cost around 151000 yen right now, or $950 USD. More information on the Goldfeather line can be found here: https://wornandwound.com/affordable-vintage-the-ultra-thin-60s-seiko-goldfeather/ Imgur & Timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/gEYVNPR Price: $275 USD OBO Shipping: Free Insured & Tracked Shipping to CONUS. International Shipping Available. Comes with: Watch Only Condition: Ready to wear in good vintage condition, with light marks on case. Slight patina forming on edge of dial around 10 o’clock. Movement is running well.
