Designed exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, it brings a sense of understated luxury without straying too far from Seiko’s signature reliability. The 40.5mm stainless steel case has a solid presence on the wrist, with a see-through case back that gives a glimpse into the Caliber 6R15 automatic movement. The deep brown dial, accented by a mix of Roman numerals and index markers, strikes a perfect balance between classic and modern. Sapphire crystal protects the face, while the fixed bezel keeps the design clean and timeless. One of the things I really like about this watch is the versatility. It comes with three different straps—black, brown, and white alligator—so you can switch things up depending on the occasion. The brown and white straps are still wrapped in plastic, completely unused while the black strap has been upgraded to a brand new black alligator strap. The watch itself has only been worn a handful of times and still looks fantastic. There is minor decolorization on the 2 o’clock index marker but that doesn’t detract from the overall look.
