For sale is this vintage Seiko 5 made in Japan in July of 1968. In stunning condition for its age being almost 60 years old. This Seiko 5 houses the 5126 movement which was only produced for a very limited time making this a very rare Seiko 5.  The movement has a very nifty feature where the date changes with each push of the crown. The Seiko 5 range has been a staple of the Seiko brand for decades upon decades now due to their robust and well-built nature; offering style with quality.  The case design is very unique for a Seiko, much resembling a Panerai while the monolithic black protruding block markers on the sunburst grey blue dial is such a genius design choice - the overall package is very firmly '60s styling. The unusual 9 o'clock position for the Seiko logo, the Seiko 5 logo at the 12 o'clock and the Daini Factory logo at the 6 o'clock all in a crisp matching black print while the Day wheel is in silver and the Date wheel is in black and housed in a hexagonal day/date window all are all great attention to detail.  Comes on a brand new genuine aftermarket Seiko leather strap that is supple and way higher quality than the default ones that come free with the watch.
