What we have here is a lovely Dufrane Waterloo - Dufrane is an Austin-based brand who makes really great and unique designs, sources good components of exceptional quality, and hand assembles in Austin. The owner Steven is very involved in the Austin watch community, so much so that he made some specialty casebacks for the Austin crew, 10 of them, and this is number 4. Just in time for SXSW! This is a gorgeous linen dial that wears really nicely, asnd the sandwich numbers along the edge look awesome in person. It wears well as a dress watch or a sport watch, it really has a solid "one watch to rule them all" vibe. It comes with this really nice quality leather strap on curved spring bars but has two sets of holes in the lugs for curved or straight bars so you can add whatever you like to it. It's in pristine condition and the Swiss Sellita SW200-1 elaboré grade movement is accurate and high quality. Whether you are Austin-based or not, Dufrane is a great microbrand to have on your wrist and thew Waterloo is a great all-around all-purpose piece. I've really enjoyed having it, but I desperately need to clear up some space in my box and get rid of the ones I don't wear as much as I used to. Sad to see it go, but it'll look great on whoever ends up with it.
