For sale today is my Ebel 1911 in a special destro/lefty configuration. The crown and date has been switched to the 9 o'clock side to accommodate right wrist wear. Cosmetically the watch is in excellent condition with only some signs of wear throughout. Inside is the Lemania 8810 movement. Designed by longines as cal. 990, it was their last true in-house movement. At its release, it is the thinnest automatic movement with sweeping seconds and date. It features 2 serially coupled mainspring barrels providing 44 hours of power reserve. After its discontinuation, it was rebadged as the Lemania 8810 and sold as ebauche. Mechanically the watch is in fair condition. The watch is keeping excellent time; however, the amplitude is rather low and a service should be performed soon. I can service the movement at an additional cost. A service box and carrying case is included with the watch. The watch is currently sized for a 7 in wrist with 4 extra links fitting up to an 8 in wrist. I am asking $1350 shipped CONUS for this piece. International shipping at buyer's expense.
