Cartier’s answer to the JLC Reverso? Highly likely (with the first Basculante being rolled out in 1932 just one year after the Reverso’s release.) Sapphire crystal with light wear but presents beautifully on the wrist. CASE: The 24MM x 35MM stainless case is in good shape with wear throughout, as expected given the age. The crazy cool flipping mechanism is nice and crisp, locking in securely, and the reverse side is very clean and free of any engravings. And of course that classic blue cabachon, here on full display above 12 o’clock. All in a great example that wears like a glove!
