This watch is the epitome of versatile elegance, effortlessly transitioning from the boardroom to a casual weekend. It's a watch that consistently garners compliments. However, as many of you know, the watch collecting journey is one of constant evolution. I'm looking to free up some funds for a different piece I've had my eye on, and unfortunately, this beauty has to find a new home. The Watch: This particular reference, the MOA10053, is, in my opinion, one of the most handsome in the Clifton line. The deep, inky black dial has a subtle sunburst finish that plays with the light beautifully. The applied Arabic numerals and rhodium-plated hands are crisp and highly legible. One of my favorite features is the small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock, which adds a touch of classic horological charm. The 41mm stainless steel case is expertly finished with a combination of polished and satin-brushed surfaces, giving it a dynamic and high-end feel. At a slim 11.5mm thick, it wears incredibly comfortably and slides easily under a shirt cuff. Powering this timepiece is the reliable and well-regarded Swiss-made Sellita SW260-1 automatic movement, which is visible through the sapphire crystal exhibition caseback. It's a joy to watch the rotor in action. Condition: I would rate the watch as being in excellent pre-owned condition. It has been worn carefully and shows only minor signs of wear. The sapphire crystal is flawless. The case has some faint hairlines on the polished surfaces, which are unavoidable with normal wear and only visible upon close inspection. The original dark brown alligator strap has plenty of life left and comes with the original Baume & Mercier signed deployant clasp, which is a fantastic touch at this price point.
