Up for sale today is a watch that needs little introduction. This Marathon MSAR is their 36mm variant with a white dial and their high torque quartz movement to support its tritium-lumed hands. It comes with the Marathon 18mm bracelet that has a diver's extension that I actually found uses for on snowy days when I would wear the watch over my heavy coat sleeve and gloves. I purchased this watch used in 2022 from the previous owner shortly after they had purchased it from its original owner. The watch is at least 4 years old, but the lume is still very good in the dark. Tritium has a half life of 12.5 years, so there's plenty of life left in the lume. The case shows minor signs of wear, and the clasp and bracelet definitely show signs of use, but that's standard for all of the watches in my collection. The original owner did not send the spare links for the bracelet to the previous owner, so the watch is limited to a 6.5-inch wrist or smaller, but I am including the Marathon rubber strap that came with it. The rubber strap is a discontinued product that is made to not show holes for the tang on the surface.
