Hello, up for sale is a very special piece from my personal collection, the iconic Cartier Basculante. This model is the quartz version with the large case, measures about 24mm wide by 36mm long and is 6mm thick, looks small in pictures but wears surprisingly well on wrist especially with its thin profile (7” wrist for reference). A couple months into ownership it stopped running on me and thought it only needed a battery change, turns out it needed more than that and I had to send it in. Luckily, I live close to a Cartier boutique so turn around time wasn’t too bad. The watch had a complete overhaul with new gaskets, some new parts and touch ups on the case. Condition of the watch is good with some marks on the front side of the case. The dial also has some small marks at the center of the dial when the hands were removed, I was quoted $200 for a new dial but it didn’t bother me so I declined the replacement. Watch comes with box, service papers from early July of this year and Cartier pouch, will also include an extra sailcloth strap. Asking $4250 net to me, shipping CONUS only.
