On offer from my personal collection is a rather unusual Le Jour diver's chronograph in the panda configuration. All steel, all original and unrevised. Overall, it is in excellent condition. I wouldn't call it NOS, as there are a few light marks on the caseback, but other than that, it's pretty darn close! Dates to the late-60s/early 70s.

Case: The all-steel 39mm case is in excellent shape. Rated at 12 atmos. Razor-sharp edges and retains original polished factory finish. All lettering on cashback is sharp and deep, with no signs of polishing.

Unusual Dial & Hands: The dial is the real standout here, with a number of attractive features. Pictures really don't do it justice. The main colour is pearlescent sunburst, complemented by black subdials. Long-arrow hour baton and syringe minute batons, both with original lume. Orange & black sweep second mirrors the subdial hands. Numerals and indices are in the art-deco style, as seen in other Le Your/Yemas and Wakmanns from the period.

Bezel: The all metal, black painted bezel is in excellent condition. No fading whatsoever. The digital-style numerals are also found on Triton bezels from the same period.

Movement: The hand-wound Valjoux 7734 movement is among the rarer of the 77xx family. It's very clean, running strong, and keeping good time. All chrono functions work correctly and reset to zero properly. Service history is unknown.

I have several suitable straps for the 19mm lugs.

In sum, a very attractive and, to my knowledge, unique configuration from a well-respected brand.
