Hello everyone here I have a very unique and rare watch! This is one of those watches that has almost no info online and I haven’t even been able to find one like it for sale. I did as much research as I could, and found out that Marshall F&C was a big retail store founded in 1852 that In some way used to get watches from other companies maybe change them a bit and put there name on it. The interesting thing is that most of these watches just like this one were actually fairly decent. This one being an automatic and having the vacuum technology shows they cared a bit more than just slapping a name on anything. According to chat gpt this one could be related to some Waltham watches of the time which is where they probably sourced this from. Outside of that I really can’t find anything. As far as Marshall field & Co goes it was a big popular store that was founded in Chicago. “The historic flagship store on State Street, with its iconic Tiffany dome, remains a beloved Chicago landmark”. The State Street location in Chicago was a landmark that grew to cover an entire city block and featured the world's largest Tiffany glass dome ceiling! It later went on to be bought by Macys in 2005. Condition: The watch is in pretty fair condition for its age. The dial has shipped a bit and there are signs of use throughout the case- but nothing major. The watch does run! It comes on this nice vegan leather strap. (I do my best to describe the condition of the watch but I am selling with no guarantees of anything). Price and payment: This watch is priced at $90 shipped within the continental United States.
