Part of the Heritage Collection, it blends traditional Grand Seiko design language with the technical perfection of the 9F82 quartz movement, creating a piece that feels both refined and remarkably capable. What sets this reference apart is its deep piano black dial, a surface so glossy and uniform that it behaves almost like a mirror. It creates a striking contrast against the razor edged hour markers and the polished dauphine hands, all of which carry the kind of finishing that usually belongs to far more expensive models. Every tilt of the wrist reveals clean, crisp lines, uninterrupted by texture or clutter. It is a dial that demands precision—and the 9F delivers it. The 40mm stainless steel case follows Grand Seiko’s classic mid century inspired form, defined by sharp planes, subtle curves, and the kind of distortion free polishing the brand is known for. At 10.4mm thick with a 46.5mm lug to lug, it wears slim, balanced, and purposeful. The dual curved sapphire crystal adds just enough depth without altering the clarity of the dial beneath. Inside sits the Caliber 9F82, a high accuracy quartz movement adjusted to an impressive ±10 seconds per year. Known for its high torque, sealed lubricants, instant date jump, and hand finished assembly, it remains one of the finest quartz movements ever made. This example is in great condition, with very minor hairline scratches on the case and caseback with no dents. The dial remains clean, the crystal is clear. Watch comes on OEM bracelet that shows no sign of stretching that fits up to 8 inches wrist (20 cm). The watch has fully been serviced, movement fully dissembled, gasket cleaned up and a new battery has been installed. The watch comes with standard Seiko box.
