Hello WatchExchange, Up for sale today is a very rare, circa 1999 **OMEGA Speedmaster Reduced Michael Schumacher Edition** (Reference 175.0032.1). Being the “reduced” variant, this classic Omega chronograph is 39mm in diameter and is powered by the Calibre 1140 with a frequency of 28,800. This is an incredibly well-preserved example of an unusual reference with a very cool connection to F1 Racing. Originally in production starting in 1996, this watch commemorated Omega’s partnership with Michael Schumacher and was launched from the track in Kerpen, Germany where Michael developed his driving skills. The bezel and case and on this piece are in excellent condition, with the occasional slight imperfection. The watch has a domed hesalite crystal that likely has a light scratch of scuff somewhere, although I could not find any. The original leather band is in remarkable condition for being approximately 22 years old, with light wear throughout, but nothing major.
