Hi everyone, This is a catch and release sort of deal for me. I got this not too long ago and am only trying to sell because something else has caught my eye. For sale is a MkII Kingston no date gilt dial Plank kit. This particular watch is number 45 out of only 300 made. The first 100 orders were sold with an extra case, bezel, crystal, bracelet, dial, and hands, basically everything you would need to rebuild the watch should something happen to it. So essentially you get almost two watches for one. This example was purchased in 2011 and it is in exceptional condition for its age. I believe I am the third owner and it has been well taken care of. The bezel and crystal are in great shape as well as the case and bracelet. There are some minor marks on the sides of the case and on the bracelet you would expect from a watch that had been carefully worn for 10+ years. The case back has a sort of dulled mark on it that appears to be from the nato strap that was fitted to it when I received the watch. I would imagine all of the marks on the case and case back could be removed with a light hand polish but I figure I would let the next owner decide on that for themselves. I tried to capture any imperfections as best as I could in the photos. The watch is running at about +11 seconds a day. I had a watchmaker put it on a Timegrapher and he confirmed this. He said it had good amplitude and would not need a service still for some time. He also did a pressure test and it passed although only tested up to 30 meters. However I do NOT guarantee the water resistance and strongly suggest having it tested yourself and/or gaskets changed prior to use in water. More on that later… The extras included in the plank kit are everything mentioned above, as well as the original paperwork and the bond style nato strap. The extra parts are still in their factory wrapping and are in new condition. I have not opened the case to check the spare dial but according to the paperwork it is another no date dial but with BW9 lume and hands, with the red triangle bezel with BW9 lume as well. The gasket kit that would have been included in the initial plank kit is absent however, leading me to believe the watch has been serviced at some point but that is just a guess. I reached out to mkII to see if they had serviced the watch and they said they had not. The gaskets are still available from them for purchase by your watchmaker or for them to use if you choose to send the watch in for service. This is an awesome watch and wears great with its 39mm case size. The quality and craftsmanship from MkII is fantastic and the fact that this was made before the black bay 58 or any of the black bay line was available is pretty cool. Plus the fact that only 300 were made and only 100 of those with the “plank” kit. This is a unique alternative to a black bay if you don’t like the snowflake hands or want something just a bit different. These do not come up for sale often, especially in this condition so I’m sure I will have some sellers remorse but that’s just how it goes… I am asking $2550 shipped CONUS. This is what I paid for it after tax so I am not making any money off of this sale. I will accept PayPal F&F or Zelle, or of course cash for a local sale in Austin, TX. I have a few confirmed transactions on here and I would be more than happy to FaceTime or do whatever you may need to answer any questions and make the potential buyer feel comfortable. Please reach out if you are interested or have any questions, thanks! Photo Album - https://imgur.com/gallery/FdJhLQv Time Stamp - https://imgur.com/gallery/ltX3SMl
