It's ties to the field of Engineering is what initially drew my attention to this watch as the IWC "Ingenieur" line literally translates to Engineer and draws from the over-engineering of the piece with absolutely unnecessary levels of anti-magnetic properties. The true GMT also provides an added layer of functionality that you won't find in the Overseas counterpart. What's more, this package comes with an incredibly rare black/red rubber textured IWC strap that came with a LE Ingenieur that is no longer being manufactured. This strap blends perfectly with the black dial and red 24 on the inner bezel. The bracelet design for those of you that are familiar with IWC allows for quick swapping between the two. Oh and did I mention this is a modern IWC so it has the on the fly micro-adjust built into the clasp?
