For sale is a vintage Gruen Curvex Manual wind wrist watch. Reference 440-578.  Watch is in nice overall condition and is ready to wear. Circa 1948. Swiss made. Elegant and unique the rectangular case measures  25.5mm across and 38mm lug to lug. Despite its size, the watch wears comfortably well on the wrists owing to the longer lug to lug length. Clean, original  dial with applied breguet numeral style indices. Original Gruen signed crown. Some slight surface scratches present on case as you would expect with a piece of this age. Manual wind Cal. 440 movement. Watch is in good working order and is keeping time. service history is unknown 14K Solid Gold Case and snap back . Case back has an engraving which reads P.R.K LOVE J.E.K 12-25-50.  Watch comes fitted with new brown genuine leather Speidel strap.  No box or papers. ***Asking $850 OBO***
