My slow collection selloff effort continues with my 1968 Grand Seiko 6145-8000.

This example is in excellent condition both visually and mechanically, having been serviced in late 2022 (receipt present). The case has some dings but retains all original edges and the caseback is in excellent condition. The crown is original as well.

Modern Grand Seiko is praised for their finishing standards and it is evident to me what that inspiration draws from, for the finishing of the dial and these hands is spectacular.

The dial is very slightly discolored between 2:00 and 5:00, as is common with any Seiko from this era. However it is hardly visible.
