I've loved this piece, and wore it way more than I expected, but it's been sitting in the box a little too long so it's time for it to go. The Seamaster Polaris was designed and marketed as a lightweight and thin sports piece. There's a high quality quartz movement, and it's a pretty great summer watch since it's grab and go and lightweight. I wore it as a pseudo dress piece even though it's on bracelet. It looked real classy in business casual attire and in a suit. I've gotten conflicting information as to whether or not this was a Gerald Genta design, but at the least the inspiration is there. Integrated bracelet in steel. I love the brushed finish, and found myself just staring at the case pretty often. Case size is 34mm Bracelet is currently sized for my 6.5 inch wrist. Bracelet probably has enough links for a 7 inch wrist. Movement was replaced by my watchmaker, and the movements can still be bought, which is good to know if you're worried about serviceability. Quartz movements are often replaced instead of overhauled. I still have the original movement if you'd like. Movement was replaced by my watchmaker for $180.
