Dated Pic: https://i.imgur.com/13gTiIf.jpeg Full Imgur Album including some wrist roll videos: https://imgur.com/a/eUnzeFj Asking $425. I recognize I have little feedback on here, but you can review a fairly lengthy feedback history on eBay under username wblackburn. I would prefer PayPal F&F, Venmo, Cash App, or other methods of payment that don’t charge me fees, but I’m not hurt if you feel more comfortable with the regular PayPal G&S given my lack of track record here. Your call, though be warned if I get a few different offers that could be a differentiating factor. Watch will ship via USPS. I have a roughly 7” wrist size for your reference, of course depending on how many Christmas cookies I have eaten that day. I am not interested in any trades at this time. Great opportunity to pounce on a watch that does not appear to be going back in production anytime soon. Overall I’d rate the watch at an 8.5/10 in condition; a few scratches on the bracelet and clasp that I tried to capture (videos above are probably the best way to see them). I didn’t notice any big scratches in crystal, but hey - that’s why you have PolyWatch! Specs from Lorier site: -Diameter: 39mm -Lug to Lug: 46mm -Thickness: 13.1mm, but 2.4mm is crystal. Case itself is 10.7mm. -Lug width: 20mm -Crystal: Domed hesalite/acrylic (PolyWatch included!) -316L case and bracelet -Bracelet: 3 micro-adjust positions tapering from 20mm to 16mm at clasp. Links are like 2/3 size of normal links, so I think you shouldn’t have much problem getting a good fit. Screw-link sizing. 4 extra links included; website states should fit up to 8” wrist. -Movement: Manual-wind Seagull ST-19. No hacking. At last check, I’m getting around +8-10 s/day. -Water resistance: 50m -Of note, watch has a 24 click bi-directional GMT bezel. Pros: -Overall aesthetic. This is probably a stupid thing to put here, but I think the biggest pro that Lorier has and why they’re such a top-tier micro brand is that they just get it when it comes to aesthetic. They nail it in making beautiful looking, well-designed vintage timepieces. If that’s your aesthetic and you’ve never tried Lorier before, just know that they absolutely get it. -Bracelet/nice wrist roll. Bracelet is really nice, and is finished well so as to get you a really good-looking wrist roll! PRX-esque, but not *quite* as bling. (Which i like, but your milage may vary). -On that note, drilled lugs! -Super wearable. This watch is extraordinarily easy to wear. Fairly lightweight, and while the thickness is technically 13mm, I was honestly surprised because it wears more like a 10-11. Disappears on the wrist, easily slips under your shirt/jacket cuff (if you work in an office setting like me). I don’t know that I’d recommend this as your timepiece of choice for camping and hiking (see below), and certainly not water stuff since it’s a chronograph, but this is a watch that could be on your wrist for 95% of your daily activities - good at work, good at your family Christmas party, good for Saturday errands, good at church, good at a nice dinner with your partner, friends, etc. Wearable and versatile. -Beautiful color. Lots of folks have their classic blue dial sports watch, but there’s something special about this shade - a nice royal blue that you don’t see a lot from other brands (or at least that I haven’t seen from some other brands). -Crystal. It’s acrylic. The pro is that it gives you that classic look that only acrylic can provide. It’s why people pony up big dollars for a Speedy. But of course, that comes with cons too (see below). Cons: -ST19 movement. This one’s running fine. Decent timekeeping, and no real issues in the general operation of the movement. But I’m sure we’ve all heard the horror stories of bad ST-19’s; this movement’s like 100 years old tech at this point, and I always assume there’s a good reason for that. I’ve noticed that sometimes the flyback on mine will bring the chrono seconds back a touch left of center, so be warned. -The crown’s fine, but I wish it were bigger for easier winding. -I feel like the visibility isn’t the greatest on this one. I mean, it’s not as bad as blacked out dial with blacked out indices kind of watches, but I do feel like I need to take an ever-so-slighly longer amount of time to tell the time. If “high visibility” is your deal, this may not be the watch for you. -Crystal. Acrylic’s great. But of course, it comes with its issues too. If you breathe on one too hard, it’ll scratch! (Not really, but you know what I mean.) This will come with Polywatch to clean it up, but acrylic obviously will require some upkeep. If scratches drive you crazy, this may not be the watch for you. -I think my biggest overall critique and a main reason I’m letting this one go is that it just feels delicate. That’s actually sort of my critique of Lorier in general; I’m not a super hard-wearing guy on my watches, but something about them just feels delicate, like I’m always worried I’ll break them or something. I’m sure that’s not true. I’ve never had any issues with this or my other Lorier (Neptune V4). It’s just a feeling. I chalk it up to the same deal of why I don’t like 100m “dive” watches. Does it actually matter to my daily life? No. But it still bothers me anyway. Hopefully that makes sense. Anyway, if you’ve read this far, you should obviously buy this. I mean, you just read my novel above. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
