**Up for sale is an incredible 1970s vintage Tank 'Cintree' by French watchmaker Yema, known today for their neo-vintage timepieces but this one here is a true oldtimer.** **THE WATCH** I can't say for sure if the marbled dial was produced as such or if it patinad over time, but it's nevertheless a testament to true vintage charm. On top of that the 14k gold plating underwent a process, that is well known with 14k gold: The copper mixed in the gold alloy began to tarnish the plating, turning it into a richer more red colour and while I personally think that aging process looks good on any 14k (plated) watch, it surely hits the sweet spot with this one in particular, since it perfectly matches the pink dial and the pink cabochon crown. As stated in the title: This watch aged to perfection! **CONDITION:** It's always nice to find a very rare unicorn while it's so well preserved as this example. The condition is mint, it's new old stock with only some minor marks here and there from storage. The plexi crystal is unscratched and the manual mechanical movement runs great and holds the correct time! **SIZE:** 18 x 45, 15 mm lug width. What sounds small is actually quite an occupying appearance om the wrist. Due to the lug to lug of 45mm it really stretches out and is truly more suitable to a male than a female wrist. For reference on the picture it sits on a wrist with 17cm circumference. I didn't had the time to source a strap for it, mainly because I'm not sure about what colour to choose. I'd probably take something funky like a baby blue for instance.
