A great value proposition by Seiko. Presage pricing with a Hi-Beat 6R21 Ananta level movement. [Click here to see a video of the watch in action](https://www.instagram.com/p/C3msJ4OKoPR/) **Model**: Seiko SARW017 / 6R21-01A0 **Year**: 2016 **Minimalist**: A subtle Presage design, despite the busy face. Featuring a circular day-date complication, as well as a power reserve indicator. The three sub-dials are indented into the cream-coloured dial, which gives the watch just enough flair to feel like a Presage without overdoing it. The dial is a beautiful matte cream colour. **The Movement**: Inside is a 6R21, which is essentially a hi-beat upgrade to the more standard 6R15 movement. With 28,888 bph, 29 jewels, and the circular day-date complication with power reserve, this movement is typically found in the more expensive Seiko Ananta line, rather than in Presages. That’s great news for us though, as it retains the Presage price point despite the Ananta movement! **High Spec**: It isn’t just the movement that received an upgrade. A lot of the Presage range uses Seiko’s proprietary Hardlex, but the SARW017’s crystal is sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the underside. It’s anti-magnetic, is rated to 10 bars of pressure, and uses a butterfly clasp with a comfortable leather strap. **The Condition**: Unworn and in near perfect condition. The crystal and case are without noticeable marks. The only tiny issue that prevents me from describing this as being in absolutely mint condition is the strap. It hasn’t been worn, but has been on a watch cushion for 8 years, and [it has aged slightly](https://imgur.com/a/Q3zFVKN).
