Up for offer today is my Grand Seiko SBGJ263, full kit with extras. This particular model line was first released in March of 2023 and this example was purchased new from Topper Jewelers on September 16, 2023 with pictures of warranty card attached. An evolution of their SBGJ201, the SBGJ263 is part of Grand Seiko’s “Heritage Collection” and is an excellent example of their famous 44GS case. The model features Grand Seiko’s famous Hi-Beat movement and the lovely and understated “Mt. Iwate” patterned dial. Notably, the SBGJ263 is also one of the first GMT’s that Grand Seiko has released in their new “ever brilliant” steel alloy. The alloy is proprietary but has similarities with 904L, and is said to be harder, more corrosion resistant, and whiter and lighter in appearance when compared to traditional 316L stainless steel. Dimensions are 40 mm x 14 mm thickness with a 46.2mm lug to lug. It sits comfortably on my 6.75 in wrist. This particular example has been worn in careful rotation with several other watches since its purchase, and has few if any blemishes on its high polished Zaratsu finish. Most noticeably there’s a faint scuff on the bezel at 12 o clock that you can see in the pictures below. Otherwise I see nothing else of note, and any other marks in the pictures are likely dust or finger prints (I don’t know how many of you take such perfect photos). The case is immaculate and to my eye the bracelet is as well. Watch functions flawlessly as expected and is still under warranty. The bracelet is currently sized to my 6.75 inch wrist, but all extra links are included. I will gladly include a beautiful Delugs Cream Berenia leather strap and deployment clasp that I purchased for this watch but never used with the sale at no additional charge. Optionally, I am also happy to include a Grand Seiko OEM navy blue alligator strap and OEM deployment clasp which are barely worn for an additional 250$ (MSRP is 630$!) MSRP for this watch currently 7,200$. The cheapest comps I can find on Chrono24 are 5k+. My asking price is 3,950$ shipped and insured to any address in the CONUS.
