Up for sale Grand Seiko SBGW279 “Oruri,” a U.S. market exclusive featuring a sunburst blue dial that transitions from a deep royal to a dark navy depending on the light intensity. The watch features the classic 37mm SBGW case (based loosely on the first GS) with dauphine hands and indices in high polish. The watch comes with full kit (box/papers), original U.S. AD warranty card dated December 2023, and lightly worn original strap. The watch is in very good to excellent (8.5/10) condition. Overall, there are only one or two hairlines on the highly-polished bezel and lugs, as the watch is only 3 months old and hardly worn. The only reason I rate it 8.5 out of 10 is due to the presence of a small nick on the top inner sector of the lower right lug. While it’s difficult to see in normal photos, I want to be fully transparent and include a macro shot (photo #9) of the nick so the new buyer won’t have any surprises.
