Aesthetic Condition: No major scratches or gouges in/on the crystal. The hour markers on the dial have developed a beautiful warm patina. The tritium in the hands matches the dial and is nice and full, showing no signs of crumbling or loss of material. The case is in very nice condition for it’s age with very sharp lines on the surface transitions from brushed to high polished finish. As can be expected for a watch this age that's been carefully worn and enjoyed, there are some small hairline scratches and swirl marks, and one small flea bite on the brushed side of the lower right lug (near the chrono reset button). There are no dings or dents in/on the bezel. Caseback metal is in nice condition, no signs of any caseback tool slippage/scratches. The enamel in the letters on the caseback is still nice and bold w/ no signs of enamel loss in the lettering. The bracelet is in nice condition as well, no major scratches on the links or clasp, very little sag when held horizontally.
Mechanical Condition: Once wound and set down for 24 hours, the watch runs about 5 seconds slow compared to my quartz stopwatch. I've included a timegrapher pic to show the amplitude. The timegraher shows slightly better daily accuracy (1-2 sec/day slow), but I'm sticking with the real world results (-5 sec/day) in my representation of the time keeping ability. The chronograph functions (start, stop, and reset to "0") are all in good working order.
