[album](https://imgur.com/a/kaDR6Zf) [timestamp](https://i.imgur.com/ROBrZYw.jpeg) Somebody grab this before I regret posting it. This is my 1 of 550 limited edition Grand Seiko SLGA013. This is probably the most slept on GS in the modern lineup. I spent a long time lusting for it and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with it, but I have a trip to Japan coming soon and would like to pick up another LE, and cannot afford to do both. I will start by saying that the new 5 day power reserve 9RA2 is an absolute marvel. The movement in mine is more accurate than my quartz watches. It has been keeping time at a staggering +0.03SPD. It has gained a little under 2 seconds in the over two months I’ve had it. These are rated to +/-10 seconds per month but in reality they vastly outperform that. This watch is on pace to meet that rating but within a YEAR rather in a month. Pair that with a massive 120hr power reserve and this watch will forgive you for picking up another watch for a weekend and be right on the money when you come back to it. The 44GS case has many aggressively angled polished surfaces which makes it dance in different lighting. It is a joy to look at, there are many wrist rolls in my Imgur album and uncountable unposted ones. It’s such a dynamic case. Paired with a beautiful, subtle dial that truly shifts depending on the angle of the light and you have a veritable chameleon on wrist. At times the dial is inky black, the texture completely faded into darkness. When the light hits it at a shallow angle, the grey tones pop, and the dial texture which is inspired in the elliptical paths the stars trace through our night sky really make an impression. I can go on and on. This is the slimmest automatic Spring Drive yet at just over 12mm thick, which is quite a feat considering the massive power reserve. The patented Ever-brilliant steel has an almost white gold tone to it. It shines beautifully and is quite resistant to both corrosion and wear acquired through every day use. I wore this watch daily for most of my time with it and it will show some scratches on the polished surfaces, particularly under bright light, but it has held up remarkably well. Spring Drive is underrated as a robust movement. It is naturally impervious to magnetism and much more resistant to shocks due to not having a traditional escapement. Shall I go on, or are we getting the picture? The reason for the sale is simple. I’ve decided I no longer want several watches waiting for me in a watchbox. I’ve decided to go for quality over quantity and have pared down the collection. I have since acquired a Sinn U50 which I’m much more comfortable beating on a daily basis and has relegated this watch to testing it’s 5 day power reserve, only coming back to wear it a bit in the house so it won’t fully unwind. That’s a shame. This watch deserves to be daily worn. At very least, it deserves to be the pride of someone’s collection. I was fortunate enough to try this watch, and I acquired it at an absolute bargain of a price. I then procured a Delugs CTS strap, which I’m including in my sale. The straps have been cut to fit my 6.25” wrist, with two micro adjust holes available they should be able to accommodate 6.5” as-is. Additionally, there is an uncut full length segment, meaning this can fit a variety of wrists. I’m passing on that absolute bargain, at a slight loss to me, since I have worn it and it has gained some signs of my love for it. MSRP on this watch is $9,500. I am asking only ~~$5,999~~ $5,750 shipped and insured to anywhere in CONUS. I am firm in this price, it is the absolute rock bottom price on the internet. The only watches even near this price range are all in Japan, where you have to pay steep import duties and taxes on all purchases and would net you significantly more. Condition is good, with light signs of wear throughout. Keeping impeccable time. Sized to my 6.25”/16cm wrist but comes fully linked. Full kit, box papers and warranty info. Payment via PayPal F&F, bank wire, Venmo. No trades please International buyers are welcome to cover shipping costs and any applicable fees or duties regarding customs. Insurance is included in cost of US shipping. Thanks for looking and please reach out with any questions. Edit: it is 1 of 550 Limited Edition, I cannot edit the title. Apologies for the confusion
