This is a vintage Tissot Sideral automatic wristwatch, Sideral was the world's first fiberglass watch, featuring a lightweight yet robust design. It is a selfwinding watch powered by an original Tissot automatic movement, sweep second, date indicator, Swiss made. Serviced in July 2023.  Original sunburst silver dial with chunky faceted hour markers, luminous dots, silver/luminous matching hands and the super cool orange/luminous central second-hand. The date window is located at 3 o’clock and the dial is also signed with the Tissot name/logo and Sideral Automatic. This iconic Tissot model was built with durability in mind, cased in a 36.2mm cushion case. The case is a bakelite-fibreglass compound, two substances well known for their tensile strength and, most notably with fibreglass, insulating properties.
